Who this is for

Who PHP Is For

No addiction diagnosis required. Mental health on its own is reason enough to be here, and always has been.

01
You are stepping down from residential

The inpatient work is done, but an hour a week feels like a cliff. PHP keeps the structure while you find your footing.

02
Weekly therapy stopped being enough

You like your therapist and you are still not getting better. That usually means you need more hours, not different intentions.

03
You are asking on behalf of someone else

Many of our calls come from a partner or a parent. Ask us anything before they are ready to call themselves.

A day here

A Typical Day in PHP

MorningYou arrive and check in with a clinician. Nobody makes you announce anything to the room before you have had coffee.
Mid-morningGroup therapy. Skills-based work in CBT and DBT, with people who are dealing with the same week you are.
MiddayA break and a meal. Then individual therapy, a medication management appointment, or a Neurofeedback session, depending on your plan.
AfternoonProcess group, family session, or a TMS appointment. Your schedule is built around what you are actually treating.
EveningYou go home. To your own place, or to one of our recovery houses if that is the arrangement that works.
Treatment approach

What's Included in a Week of PHP

Therapy that has evidence behind it, prescribers who actually follow up, and two treatments most programs in the area do not have.

CBT and DBT

Skills you practice in group and use the same night.

Individual therapy

One clinician who knows your whole story, including the trauma work.

Family therapy

The people at home are part of this, when you want them to be.

Prescribing and monitoring on site, for psychiatric medication. Medication-assisted treatment is a separate service we can help connect you to.

Two things most day programs here do not have
A neurofeedback session

Built into our PHP and IOP schedule, not sold as an add-on. We have not seen another local day program include it as standard.

For depression, including treatment-resistant depression, in the same building as the rest of your care.

Housing and PHP

Housing for PHP Clients

A full-day program assumes a stable place to sleep and a way across town by morning. For plenty of people that assumption is what makes treatment impossible.

What's the difference between PHP and IOP?

PHP is more structured and time-intensive than IOP, typically for people who need more support than weekly or a few-times-a-week sessions, but do not need to stay overnight. Many people step down from PHP into IOP as they progress.

Do you accept my insurance?

Yes, we work with most major commercial insurance, and we're specifically credentialed for PHP. Coverage varies by plan, so our admissions team will verify your specific benefits and walk you through what's covered before you commit to anything.

Do I need a substance use diagnosis to join PHP?

PHP is for anyone managing a mental health condition, a substance use disorder, or both — you do not need an addiction diagnosis to be a good fit.

Do you offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT)?

Our approach uses medication management alongside therapy-based support. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a separate service — if that's specifically what you need, we're happy to help point you toward a provider who offers it.

Can my family be involved in treatment?

Yes, family therapy is part of what we offer, and we know balancing treatment with family and personal responsibilities is real. We'll work with you on how your family fits into your care.

What if I need housing while I'm in PHP?

We offer recovery housing alongside PHP, so you don't have to solve transportation or housing logistics on top of starting treatment. Reach out and we'll walk you through how that pairing works.
